Why do people desire to grow old?
I hate life asked:
I don’t see anything good about being elderly physically or mentally. To be honest, I would rather die middle aged than die elderly but thats just me. Sorry if I offended anybody.

I think most people want to live a long time, which is not the same thing as aging poorly.
You also are mistaken if you think aging is always debilitating. THere are plenty of active healthy people in the their 70s and 80s. So you would quit halfway through on the chance you might not age well?

well most people are frightened by the idea of death, and others have a reason to live old….family, friends, spouses….even the bliss of living in retirement can be rewarding to some after a busy life. I guess its the time to settle down….after settling down. hope this helps..
For me, i agree partially with you….but i still want to live my life well, but i dont want to die when im like 50.

You are entitled to your opionion. But for me, as long as I am somewhat healthy physically and psychologically; I want to live. If I am bed ridden or completely whacked in the head; then I prefer to die..pull the plug.
