When will rejuvenation technology finally outpace the natural aging process?
Lucas asked:
When do you think that technology and medicine will be so advanced that it will eventually outpace how fast people age so that we can all become immortal and human lifespan will be infinite? I’d say around 2050. What do you think?

I would say about 200 years atleast and even then there would be constant defects in the surgeries done to people so people wouldnt be immortal even then until much later

It’s a very good question. Personally, I am confident that we already have the technology to start actively laying the foundation for significant extension of useful human life span. Animal models could be created today and perfected in a matter of years to demonstrate that both biology and consciousness could be manipulated and extended into the future for 100s of years, perhaps 1000s. Much depends on how we approach the problem. There will be, in my opinion, at least 2 maybe 3 different pathways that will lead to different degrees of success. But first, humanity has to get pass all of the social and ethical concerns, and then start doing the science.
