Hot pack his toenail with a wash cloth and hot water, hold it on the toe for a little bit, and then gently lift the toenail up and out of the skin – sliding under the nail with tool for cleaning under the nails and out.

ingrown toenail, you could carefully try to cut a small triangle and bring towards the back so it comes off or take him to a doctor- foot doctor?

You need to get it out before it gets infected. If you cannot get it out you need to see the doctor. Its an ingrown toenail and its not good to let it grow in too long or it could get bad….
If your SURE its under the skin i would call the doctor and see what they say.

If you can gently lift it and clip it, try that. If not, see a doctor.
