I wouldn’t put straight mineral oil on your face it would be to greasy, but most good moisturizers have it as one of the main ingredients. You can find some really great anti-aging moisturizers that Origins (great quality products I love everything I have ever purchased from them, and they have had all sorts of recognition of the Youthtopia™ line ) makes at most of your nicer department stores for about half the cost of what you spent. Here is a link

Mineral oil has gotten a bad rep, supposedly causing acne breakouts.
No need to return it though, it’s a great product you got.
But the ‘breakout” thing is targeted to products that contain a lot of it, not a small percentage like Lancome. Lancome has fabulous skin care products. I wouldn’t get rid of it.

I will never place mineral oil my me again!! If I was you i would return it!! The reason the even high end brand use it is because its a really cheap filler so they are making more money! For a 100 buck i can get some anti-aging from arbonne that does not have mineral oil in it and I think will work better then what you bought!! Please email for more
Check out the link its more about mineral oil!!

Mineral oil is usually put in lotions as a moisturizing agent. If you have oily or blemish-prone skin, I wouldn’t recommend using it, as adding extra oil will only make things worse. If you don’t have oily or blemish-prone skin, it should be fine for you to use.
Products with oils in them are good for people with really dry skin, who need that extra moisture. There are lots of oil-free products out there too, for people like myself who battle oily skin.
You can return it if you don’t like it though. All the high-end makeups in stores like Belk, Dillards, etc will let you return the product with your receipt. If you don’t have receipt, they will probably at least issue you a gift card. If you ordered online from lancome.com, you can also mail it back to them for a refund or credit. I use a lot of Lancome and Estee Lauder products, and I’ve never had any trouble getting a refund or making an exchange. You shouldn’t have any trouble, as long as you haven’t used like half the bottle or something…
