I just turned 30 and for the first time in my life I’m starting to worry about aging?
Rev Run asked:
I think my hair is starting to fall out and my skin is wrinkling just a little. It’s like I went from still feeling like a teenager one day and feeling like I’m 50 the next. Is it normal to feel this way once you reach 30?

aging
Some get a sort of depression when they are 30 or40 or 50.
Its normal as long as you realize its only that and there’s nothing wrong with you.
Take care

Can be. And suddenly your doctor looks like he just graduated from Jr Hi, not med school! Some do age faster or slower than others. Personally, I try to avoid mirrors.

You just have an old mind in a young body. Wait until you reach 60!

My boss just turned 32, and he says he just isn’t the same as he used to be… then I laugh at him because he still has a long way to go (and I can’t sympathize yet). Your body starts to die as soon as you’re born, 30 is a normal time to start feeling it a little. Less energy, harder to lose weight, things hurt… it’s gonna happen. I started getting my first wrinkle at 23. I think regular trips to your doctor and taking good care of yourself should keep you in top shape, but remember, aging is inevitable.

Create a video blog…instantly.
I will probably do the whole woe is me thing too in a few years. But you are only as old as you feel & act.
Is your hair falling out or are you just thinking it is? if it does migrate, shave your head. It will make you look younger plus bald spots are not a good look. And if you dont already, take up body building (not extreme body building) Excercise holds back the years. And of course you are using moisturiser & sunscreen I presume?

NO IT IS NOT ‘NORMAL’ .!!
You say you are experiencing your hair falling out and your skin wrinkling. This is NOT normal ageing.
This could be produced by a HEALTH PROBLEM.
It sounds to me like you should take a really close look at your diet and nutrition.
That can produce all kinds of nasty changes in our bodies.
The changes you describe are far too radical and extreme to be part of the natural ageing process. Nature ages us so incredibly gradually that often we don’t even notice it until it is well under way.
AGEING IS A VERY SLOW PROCESS.
I recommend you to go and see your doctor now.
BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AFTER YOU FINISH READING THIS.
You may need to see a nutritionist.
Feeling like a teenager one day and a 50 yr old the next is NOT NORMAL:
It is a serious health issue.

Just wait until you hit 37 and you know that 40 is just around the corner.

Thirty? You’re a baby! I’m 46.
Sometimes those birthdays that end in a zero tend to make us introspective. It can be depressing and discouraging when your heart is still 16 but your body’s 46. You look in the mirror expecting to see a teenager and you see an “old person”!
Hair loss and skin wrinkling can indeed start at age 30, but these changes may be so miniscule only you notice them. I am assuming you are healthy otherwise, i.e., appropriate weight, appropriate diet, appropriate exercise. I am also assuming you have no major health problems and aren’t taking any medications, legal or illegal.
America tends to place too much emphasis on youth. Since you’re a male (at least your icon’s a male), you won’t have as much pressure as women do to “fight signs of aging”.
According to the psychologist Erik Erikson, you are in the developmental stage of “Intimacy versus Isolation.” This means you are seeking satisfying permanent relationships to make you feel as though you belong. Erikson’s developmental stages may make interesting reading for you, if you haven’t yet heard of them.
In the meantime, you’re a “young person” from my point of view!

I am 35 and I already see the difference in my face. It is not as smooth as I was in my 20′s. Luckily I am not balding. I do accept the fact that I will age and my life will end sooner or later. I do not worry much how I look like but what I achieve in life. I want my name, my achievements, my memories to be remembered by my community, friends and family. Look at our nations heroes, they have died decades or centuries ago but their names and work lives on beyond their lifetime.
