How to add grey streaks to colored hair?

My grandma is now 78, and decided she FINALLY wants to get rid of her old hairstyle and color….the problem is, she has been dying her white/grey hair box-color BLACK for 20 years. She wants to gradually lighten up to a brownish color with grey streaks…but as for now, how can I add grey streaks to her hair? Bleaching sounds like a bad idea and I want her hair grey, not yellow.

Grandma will not get that black out of her hair unless she goes to see an stylist. Box black color stains the hair and builds up…almost impossible to get out…but a stylist is armed with procedures that will remove this.
Do not do this yourself…it is complex issue that you will regret doing if you try. Pay for grandma to go to salon. Get a consultation as they are usually free.
If she is willing to get a good shorter haircut..this is usually a good solution to this.
