How come mothers still have power over their kids even when they grow OLD?

Like howe they can still tell them off make them uncomfortable with just a look. You would think they won’t be able to do tjis after you grow up.

    “The Look” is passed down from Mother to Mother through generations but some women can’t do it, I’m glad it was passed down to me from my Mum as it really saves a heck of a lot of time, I just give my son “The Look” and hey presto, he stops in his tracks and knows he’s gone to far. It’s like magic!

    I think a lot of it has to do with respect. Our Mother’s brought us into this world, and I think there is a certain level of respect and appreciation for that that will never go away.

    i think cuz they both are used to it being this way so…but im not sure…they are still older and they do say ‘respect yor elders’ so…
