Can you reverse the effects of aging caused by makeup?
Yolkie asked:
I have been wearing makeup for 4 years, and I think it has caused me to look older. If I stop wearing makeup and try a chemical facial peel, do you think I could restore my skin?

I’ve never heard of makeup aging skin. I’m not sure it’s possible, unless the makeup is drying. You should go to a salon and speak someone there about a chemical facial peel, they are pricey so you want to know if you’re expectations will be met. Other than that you should exfoliate your face gently but as often as once a day if you can, like every night. Then moisturize and of course wear sun block.

I don’t think you can really reverse any effects of aging to a huge degree, but Olay Regenerist makes a line of products that make your face look and feel AMAZING!
I just purchased Olay Regenerist self heating daily mini peel and its soooo relaxing to use, and makes your skin feel great!

the only way the makeup would cause you to look older is if your foundation is drying your skin out.
Consider your skin type and look for a foundation appropriate for your skin type.

Yes makeup can age your skin. At avon they have this great makeup that actually has Anew anti-aging skin care technology in it. The Anew lines are the best in fighting aging and now you couldn’t ask for more because they have right in the makeup! You have to see it for yourself this stuff is great and it is all that I use!
Heres a link. Hope this helps!
